Nortada offers 7 and 14 night day itineraries to Darwin and Wolf in Galapagos. A few land visits are also available during the trip.   In addition to the benefits of running private charters in a very familiar environment, Nortada offers unique benefits such as full rebreather and technical diving support and photo – video or other interest oriented departures.

Public areas consist of a main deck with bridge, galley, air conditioned dining room and lounge.  The scuba diving platform has ample benches, outside showers, camera tables and rebreather rinsing facilities.  In the upper deck a sun deck is next to the fly bridge.

All divers are provided with a Nautilus Lifeline bi-directional VHF/DSC marine radio with GPS,  dive alert and DSMB.

Nortada Cabins

Nortada offers four lower deck, fully air conditioned cabins with two single lower berths, private heads, lockers and drawers. The boat also features an extended occupancy option of up to 12 people. The additional guests can be accommodated in the four full size upper berths available in every one of the four cabins.

Friday

Morning: Baltra Island
Arrival in Baltra airport and transfer to the boat. Briefing onboard about the boat and the island.

Evening: Santa Cruz Island - Carrion Point
A lagoon with beautiful turquoise water where you can see a variety of fish, rays and white-tip reef sharks.

Saturday

Morning: Isabela Island - Cape Marshall
Cape Marshall is a very special dive, where lava from the Wolf volcano falls into the ocean.

Evening: Isabela Island - Roca Redonda
At Roca Redonda you will encounter Hammerheads, Wahoos, big eye Jacks. See the underwater volcanic vents release warm water bubble streams.

Sunday

Morning: Wolf Island
Schools of hammerheads meet up with barracudas and eels to offer the diver a spectacular view.

Monday

Morning: Darwin Island
Diving at Darwin is overwhelming as the water it is thick with hammerheads and large schools of fish.

Morning: Wolf Island
Schools of hammerheads meet up with barracudas and eels to offer the diver a spectacular view.

Wednesday

Morning: Santiago Island - Cousin's Rock
A great wall dive site for seeing a forest of black juvenile corals, seahorses, hammerheads, rays, etc.

Evening: Santiago Island - Sullivan Bay
The lava field has a variety of patterns made by the shapes and textures of trees that once existed there.

Thursday

Morning: Santa Cruz Island - Highlands
The highlands are located in the northern part of the island and can reach elevations up to 1500 mt.

Evening: Santa Cruz Island - Charles Darwin Station
An organization that provides scientific assistance to ensure the proper preservation of the Galapagos.

Friday

Morning: South Plaza Island
South Plaza has one of the largest populations of land iguanas in the Galapagos.
Baltra Island
Transfer to the Airport.

  • Length: 85 feet / 25.9 metres

  • Cruising Speed: 12 knots
  • A complete toolkit and a selection of solid lead weights and trim soft pouches are available for all divers.
  • 20 Nitrox compatible aluminum 80 cu ft / 12 liter cylinders are filled by one of the twin Nuvair LP/HP Compressors. Two Nuvair nitrox analyzers are available on board.
  •  For technical and rebreather diving, redundant oxygen clean Haskell Sport Boosters, one Tri Hunter 3000 Gas mixing stick for Trimix blending,  several nitrox compatible 40 cu ft / 6 liter aluminum stage cylinders and  several 19 cu ft / 2 liter steel  rebreather cylinders with various valves and one Analytical Industries Trimix Analyzer are available upon request.
  • Crew consists of one Captain, one Mechanic, one Cook, two Sailors and one Naturalist Guide.
